    How to reach Svaneti Countryside

    1. To reach Svaneti Countryside, follow these travel options:

      1. By Plane: From Natakhtari Airport, take a 40-minute flight to Mestia (Tbilisi-Mestia route). Tickets are available on Vanilla Sky. The transfer from Rustaveli Metro Station (central Tbilisi) is included in the fare. Children under 3 years old fly for free.

      2. By Minibus (Marshrutka): If you prefer ground transportation, take a minibus from Tbilisi, Batumi, or Kutaisi. The journey takes approximately 6 hours (direct routes are available in summer; otherwise, transfer in Zugdidi).

      3. By Car: For flexibility, consider renting a car. The drive to Mestia from Tbilisi takes 8-10 hours one way, while from Batumi or Kutaisi, it’s around 5-6 hours.

      Remember, even if you fly, allocate at least 2-3 full days (3-4 days considering travel time) to explore Svaneti properly. Ideally, spend 3-4 days in this enchanting region. Welcome to the mountains!
